Making an Appointment to Select Your Interior Finishes
By Gail Wrzesinski
Move-In Coordinator
While there are many decisions to be made as you contemplate moving to your new apartment home, the good news is that Erickson has refined the process so that everything is logical, understandable, and easy.
There’s no hurry or confusion. I meet with each person or couple individually, and we take the time to make sure that you are satisfied with your decisions.
The process begins with a thorough runthrough of the floor plan, which I have color-coded for ease of planning.
First, we concentrate on the basics, such as the location of items like electric outlets, security features, cable TV, and telephones.
Then, we discuss lighting, appliances, and sinks. During the meeting, I carefully explain the range of standard choices, as well as all of the upgrades that are available.
Interior Finishes
When it comes to interior finishes, we review everything individually, and as a whole. Flooring, cabinet finishes and hardware, countertop options, appliances, and carpeting are all on the list.
We compare and we contrast. And we consider the apartment as a whole, determining details such as which tile will best complement which carpeting and cabinets.
The Move-In Seminar
As soon as the exact April dates are determined, everyone who has chosen interior finishes will be invited to attend a special Move-In Seminar. These meetings will include group presentations by professionals in a variety of service areas, as well as the opportunity to visit with experts one-on-one.
Each person in attendance will receive a packet with lots of helpful information, including contact information for various moving resources, and hopefully, some special offers.
Representatives at the Move-In Seminar will include:
