THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
Many homeowners are tired of maintaining their homes and want to be rid of the financial burdens and stresses that come with them, but are hesitant due to any number of factors. Perhaps they’re worried about selling their property in a stagnant real estate market, or maybe they don’t think they can afford to move to a retirement community.
More than 700 retirees who once struggled with these same issues have made the leap by reserving their new homes or getting in line to move to Henry Ford Village. Those anxiously waiting to make the move are members of the Priority List, and priorities are exactly what the Dearborn community has in mind when it comes to their investments.
Worried about protecting your nest egg? Many people share your feelings. How does having 100% of your investment returned sound to you? That’s right, Henry Ford Village returns 100% of your entrance deposit if you leave the community. If you do some comparison shopping, you’ll find that most other retirement communities don’t offer as many customized money-saving programs. Sure some competitors may offer up to a 90% refundable deposit, but why take only 90% when you can have 100%?
Flexible options
Want to move but aren’t ready to sell your house just yet? Move without selling your house with the Flexible Pricing Program, which offers retirees the option of making a smaller initial investment to secure their new home, with a slightly higher monthly fee. For each $5,000 increment that the 100% Refundable Entrance Deposit is reduced, the monthly service package will only increase by $33. In some cases, the entrance deposit can be as low as $6,000 with all the perks on campus, such as one meal a day, all utilities excluding phone, local planned transportation, use of the community’s services and amenities, and access to the state-of-the-art Erickson Health® network.
