DEARBORN, MI – Renaissance Gardens at Henry Ford Village has received notification that it has met the criteria to receive a 2006 Michigan Award of Excellence for improving care in a nursing home setting.
The award is offered by MPRO of Farmington Hills, Mich., a recognized leader in healthcare quality improvement and patient safety initiatives with extensive experience in Medicare and Medicaid programs, managed care operations, research methodologies and data analysis. MPRO also provides services for state agencies in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, Wisconsin, and to TRICARE beneficiaries in 23 states.
“This is a wonderful accomplishment for our staff and administration,” said Leslie Rowe, administrator at Renaissance Gardens at Henry Ford Village. “The honor acknowledges the quality of care and concern given each day to the men and women who live at our community.”
A ceremony will be held on April 26, 2007 at the Eagle Eye Golf Club and Resort in Bath, Mich., to present the awards. Representatives of Henry Ford Village will be present to accept the certificate of achievement. (Kathie Shaffer)
