How Renaissance Gardens keeps us together

Although his wife of 57 years is in Assisted Living, John Daly can visit Patricia three times every day. Patricia lives at Renaissance Gardens, the extended care neighborhood that is part of John’s Erickson community. The two are connected via an enclosed walkway, so John comes even in bad weather.

The music connection
“They have lots of music activities at Renaissance Gardens. And Patricia enjoys the hymns at services here,” he says.

Patricia has a private room (standard at Renaissance Gardens), so John can bring music to her. “If she was sharing a room, I might not be able to play the Frank Sinatra album she likes any time,” he adds.

Pactricia has kept the same doctor from when the Daly’s moved in; he is at the on-site Medical Center. John also praises the nursing team on duty 24/7. “They know her well, so they can tell when something has changed and address it,” he says.

Because you are interested in a better Assisted Living (or Respite) solution for you and your loved one, call Renaissance Gardens at Henry Ford Village today: 313-584-1700 or 1-800-576-3734.

Renaissance Gardens is located on the Henry Ford Village campus.
