Anxious to sell their houses and begin experiencing the Erickson lifestyle, many people throughout the Washington, D.C. area continue to join the Priority Lists at all three area Erickson campuses—Greenspring, Ashby Ponds, and Riderwood. Currently, more than 3,200 people have joined these waiting lists.
To help you in your decision-making process, we’ve answered three questions we hear most about our Priority Lists.
Q: I keep hearing about all the benefits of the Priority List. How do I join?
A: If only everything in life were this easy. By taking two simple steps you will be well on your way to enjoying the unparalleled opportunities that await you at an Erickson community.
First, we invite you to call Greenspring or Ashby Ponds and schedule a visit with us. After carefully listening to your needs, we will address all your options and provide detailed information regarding various apartment styles, designs, and prices.
Once all of your questions have been answered, you will select the apartment home that best meets your needs. Then, once you submit the processing fee and the $1,000 refundable entrance deposit, your spot on our Priority List will be secured.
Q: If I join Greenspring’s Priority List and decide to move to Ashby Ponds or another Erickson community, do I lose my place in line?
A: No. Once you join the Priority List of any Erickson community, you claim your “space in line,” and you may transfer that position to any other Erickson community without incurring a penalty at any time. We’re just happy that you’ll be enjoying the Erickson lifestyle at any of our campuses.
Q: I’m only in my early 50s, but I think that I would like to retire one day at an Erickson community. When can I join the Priority List? Is now too soon?
