THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
When Vic and Gale Girolami decided to move to Fox Run, they thought moving would be a terrible pain. But now that they’re settled in as one of the first couples living in the Novi community’s newest residence building, they’re singing a different tune.
“Moving was a lot simpler than I thought,” Mr. Girolami says. “Everybody here has been very helpful and friendly.”
From the beginning
The Girolamis moved from a house in Northville to a Lincoln floor plan, a spacious home featuring two bedrooms, two baths, a galley kitchen, and a patio.
Mary Wolfe, personal moving consultant at Fox Run, assisted the Girolamis with all the details.
“She helped us sell our house, got us a real estate agent, and helped with staging,” Mr. Girolami says. “We sold our house in about three months.”
Before the couple moved in, they had some upgrades done to their new home. Anyone moving to the community can use Fox Run’s Custom Interiors department to personalize their new home.
“We had wood floors put in; plus, we extended the kitchen to add a breakfast bar,” Mr. Girolami says.
Looking out and working out
The couple is now enjoying a scenic view of a nearby pond just outside their home.
“We can see the black swans when they go by; it’s a beautiful view,” Mr. Girolami says.
When he’s not relaxing and watching the swans, Mr. Girolami says he’ll be in the community’s fitness center, which has personal trainers and state-of-the art equipment specifically designed for older adults.
Filling up fast
Apparently, others are seeing the benefits of living in Hudson Park; as of October, it was at 85% occupancy, according to Marketing Director Fred Moschetta.
“Since the building opened, all of the remaining inventory has reserved quickly,” he says. “People love the views, new floor plans, and convenient location, as it’s located just steps away from the active Belmont Clubhouse.”
