Edward Papelian, moved from Southfield
Why did you choose Fox Run?
“My three children wanted me to go and live with them. Each one of them has a place and I could have, but this was the place for me.
“Why anybody would want to go to a condo, with all the expenses and everything, is beyond me. I mean, this is an ideal place—this is like heaven. It took me one day to get adjusted to Fox Run.”
What other things are you involved in?
“I sing with the choir. And we have a singing group here I really enjoy.”
What advice would you give to a friend or neighbor about moving to Fox Run?
“Don’t wait too long. Come here when you can enjoy these things. You come here not when you’re sick—you come here when you’re well because there’s so much to do.”
How do you like the Ascot Clubhouse?
“The Fitness Center is beautiful! I work out every morning. I go there about 5:30 and work out and then I go swimming; I sit in the hot tub. To me, that’s paradise.”
How’s the food at Fox Run?
“The food is great! I try not to eat lunch anymore because the food is so good. I’m sure if I keep eating all that food, I’m going to gain weight!”
How’s the dining experience at Fox Run?
“I sit with different people most of the time. Yes, the dining here is very interesting. We have a lot of great people staying here.”
Have you used the Medical Center at Fox Run?
“Yes, now I do. When I came here, I was getting fevers all the time. I have a doctor I go to and was hospitalized, and they give you Tylenol and what not; and then I got well and I went home and then two or three weeks later, I had some more fevers.
