New amenities at retirement community create increased demand

Now that Fox Run in Novi has announced the long-awaited opening of its Belmont Clubhouse, the community has been selling its last remaining apartment homes at 300% above normal rates.

Fred Moschetta, marketing director, recently gave an informational presentation about the new clubhouse to more than 250 Priority List members.

Prime location
“The new clubhouse doubles the value of Fox Run. You have twice as many restaurants, a performing arts theater, a library, a day spa, a TV studio, and other great conveniences just down the hall,” he says.

Because of their close proximity to the new Belmont Clubhouse, the limited number of apartment homes available in Wood Bridge are prime spots that everybody wants, he says.

“If you live in Wood Bridge, it will be like having your own clubhouse,” Moschetta says. “We still have a limited number of homes available in Wood Bridge, but they’re going fast.”

Popular floor plans going fast
Because of the buzz being created by the new clubhouse, as well as the many other amenities at Fox Run, a limited number of floor plan styles remain.

Those who planned ahead and joined the Priority List were able to reserve the Albright, Avalon, Easton, Ellicott, Evanshire, Fenwick, Harrison, and Hastings floor plans. Now those floor plans are completely sold out.

Priority List members have the right of first refusal. Before releasing any of the few remaining apartment homes to the general public, Fox Run first offers them to Priority List members.

In other words, Priority List members will have the best selection of apartment styles, locations, and views.

It’s all there
The Belmont Clubhouse features an exhibition-style restaurant, bistro-style pub, day spa, and performing arts theater.

“I like the convenience of having everything close and the companionship,” says resident Ed Handley, who moved with his wife Shirley from Overland Park, Kans.

“You have your store, you have your bank, you have your post office. I like to call the front desk the Chamber of Commerce. It’s like a small village, and that’s why I feel very cozy here,” he says.

Carolyn Ives, Fox Run’s retirement counselor, says more and more people are clambering to live at a community like Fox Run. “If having access to two clubhouses, more than 100 clubs, a fitness center, a bank, and a convenience store all rolled into one affordable monthly service package sounds tempting, I advise people to join the Priority List,” she says.

“People can call for their free Information Kit to get the details on Fox Run’s floor plans and pricing, as well as our 100% refundable entrance deposit,” she says. “Then they can make an appointment with me—I’ll help them find the ideal maintenance- free apartment home, work with them to customize their new home, review their finances, and answer any questions they may have about moving to Fox Run.”

Ives says, “The comment I hear the most about living at Fox Run is ‘I should have moved in sooner.’”
