There’s a lot more to love these days about a popular retirement community in Novi.
This month marks the grand opening of a spectacular new clubhouse that spans 52,000 square feet and features an exhibition-style restaurant, a library complete with coffee bar and Internet access, and a full-service pub.
The brand-new, two story Belmont Clubhouse at Fox Run will be opening its doors soon, and community members like Gerri Flowers couldn’t be happier.
“John Erickson is a great visionary,” Flowers says of the chairman and CEO of Erickson Retirement Communities. “Everything here is state of the art.”
Flowers, who moved from Novi, has a great view of Fox Run’s newest gem from her apartment home.
“It looks really spacious and grand . . . everybody’s looking forward to it,” she says.
Fox Run Executive Director Mike McCormick agrees.
New hot spot
“The addition of new amenities such as the performing arts center, catering room, and dance floor are very exciting,” McCormick says. “Everybody here will have access to both the Belmont and Ascot Clubhouses.”
Each clubhouse has its own perks.
“The Ascot has a pool, plus its own market and bank,” he points out.
The new Belmont Clubhouse will feature: the Signatures restaurant, with exhibition-style dining and five different entrees to choose from nightly; the Jockey Pub, offering a variety of food as well as a full bar and spacious dance floor; an open air library with freshly brewed coffee and Internet access; a performing arts center; a spacious catering room; a day spa and salon; and a fully equipped TV studio.
Two clubhouses are double the fun
The Belmont is not meant as a replacement for the Ascot Clubhouse. Rather, it will be an added bonus for all community members.
