Some of Michigan’s most interesting people are choosing Fox Run for its fabulous lifestyle and amenities
Celesta Smart, moved from Farmington Hills
Why did you first decide to come to Fox Run?
“My daughter saw an ad on TV, and we thought it sounded like wonderful concept—what they plan to do and what they have done. We came to look at it and decided to take a place right away.”
What do you enjoy most about living at Fox Run?
“A feeling of so many nice people being around. There’s always so much to do if you’re so inclined. If you’re lonesome, I guess it’s your fault!”
What other things are you involved in?
“There’s always something going on! They have every program you can think of, and any program or organization you can think of and would like to start—they’re willing to help you get started. I’m with the Red Hat Society. I’m involved with the Treasure Chest Committee and the Welcome Committee. I play cards, go to Happy Hour . . . whatever I feel like doing. And I love going to movies here!”
Have you made some good friends at Fox Run?
“Yes, I’ve met a lot of people at dinner. There are tables of four, or five, or seven—and they’ll sometimes squeeze in eight! You can’t help but meet people. Everybody’s very friendly. And the staff! Everybody who works here just goes overboard to be nice and kind.”
What advice would you give to someone who said they’re not ready to move to Fox Run?
“Don’t wait. I think too many people wait too long—once you’re here, you’ll find it’s so friendly and there’s so much going on!”
Does the monthly service package work for you?
“Yes it does!”
How do you like the Ascot Clubhouse?
“Oh, it’s fine! I use the Fitness Center—I like to use the Nu-Step. But I get so busy, I’m not over there as much as I should. I use the store, and the bank, and the hair salon.”
