NOVI, MI – Men and women who live and work at Fox Run will share the Thanksgiving season with the surrounding community by walking to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. The fourth annual Fox Run Turkey Trot will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 17. Fox Run residents will have the choice of three different courses to walk to support the cause, including a quarter-mile, half-mile, and one-mile route around Fox Run’s campus, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the walks will be moved indoors. Participants are asked to make a donation of canned goods and non-perishable food items. Gifts of money will also be accepted. Donations will be given to less fortunate families in southeastern Michigan through the efforts of Gleaners Community Food Bank locations in the area. The Turkey Trot will culminate in Fox Run’s Fireside Lounge with beverages and goodies for participants. (Kathie Shaffer)
