NOVI, MI – The men and women who live at Fox Run have become the number-one fans of the Novi High School varsity football team. The Wildcats invited and have welcomed a group of residents to home games this season.
“This is a really exciting partnership between our residents and the Novi schools,” says Andrea Peragine, community resource manager at Fox Run. “The high school’s athletic department in cooperation with the school board has arranged for transportation for our residents to the game. It’s been a lot of fun for them to ride a school bus again.”
Members of the Novi school board have greeted the Fox Run group and there have even been junior varsity cheerleaders on the bus to teach residents favorite cheers to help them root for the Wildcats. The program has been so successful that Peragine is discussing continuing the program during basketball and hockey season as well.
“Many of our student servers in our dining room attend Novi High and this is a wonderful way for our residents to share in the excitement of their school day activities,” adds Peragine. (Kathie Shaffer)
