Fox Run Residents and Staff Celebrated Fall With Family and Friends At The “Old Tyme Carnival”

Posted on Wednesday, October 11, 2006

NOVI, MI – Residents and staff at Fox Run, the premier community for older adults in Oakland County, shared this weekend’s spectacular fall weather with family and friends at an “Old Tyme Carnival”, which was held at the 110-acre campus on 13 Mile Road between M-5 and Meadowbrook.

The afternoon was filled with mid-way games for kids of all ages, rides like the “Barrel of Fun” and “Scrambler,” talented entertainers including a towering juggler who teetered on stilts, and tasty treats such as funnel cakes, caramel apples, cotton candy, and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

The event brought together many of the almost 600 people who live at Fox Run to enjoy all the festivities. The residents were particularly thrilled to share all the fun with their families as well as the Fox Run staff and their guests.

Fox Run, located on Thirteen Mile Road near the M-5 connector in Novi, is a not-for-profit campus for people over 62 years of age. It is managed by Erickson Retirement Communities of Catonsville, Md., and is one of a network of similar campuses developed and managed by Erickson throughout the country.
