For many people, sticking to a regular exercise program is really tough. That’s why it is significant that six women at Fox Run have become members of the Jazzercise 100 Club, an honor reserved for those who have attended at least 100 classes.

Jazzercise combines elements such as dance, resistance training, pilates, and yoga in programs for people of every age and fitness level. A typical 60-minute Jazzercise class includes a warm up, aerobics, muscletoning, and cool-down stretching segments.

Jazzercise is the world’s leading dance-fitness program. It was created by Judi Sheppard Missett and is now in its 35th year.

This comprehensive program is taught by more than 6,000 instructors in 20,000 weekly classes worldwide and is designed to enhance cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility for millions of people of all ages and fitness levels.

For 100 Club member Helen Weingarden, who moved from Farmington Hills, Jazzercise has made a big difference in how she feels.

“Jazzercise has improved my fitness level tremendously… and it’s fun,” says Helen.

Charlotte Dashner, from Bloomfield, another member of this elite club, had nothing but praise for the Jazzercise program at Fox Run.

“The class is never boring. I look forward to attending every class,” she says.
