Mark your calendars, folks. It’s time to shine your golf clubs and pull out your party shoes—the Eagle’s Trace golf tournament and gala are quickly approaching. All proceeds from the two events will go to the Benevolent Care Fund, which ensures that all Eagle’s Trace residents have a home for life and will never have to leave the community for financial reasons.
The 1st Annual Gala Golf Tournament will be held at Willow Fork Country Club on Monday, September 29. The tournament is a four-player scramble with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Golf registration includes greens fee, cart rental, range balls, lunch, and dinner.
On Saturday, October 11, Eagle’s Trace will hold its 2nd Annual Gala. This year’s theme is “Adventure on the Orient Express.” Guests will visit exotic European and Asian locations throughout the evening while enjoying scrumptious fare, live entertainment, dancing, and a silent auction.
Eagle’s Trace resident Janice Linsenmayer attended last year’s gala, “A Night at the Oscars,” and is a member of the planning committee for “Adventure on the Orient Express.”
“Last year’s gala was just wonderful, and this year’s event promises to be even better. I know several residents who are beginning to plan their wardrobes around the theme. My excitement’s mounting already,” says Linsenmayer.
Linsenmayer says the Benevolent Care Fund was “a determining factor” when she and her husband made the decision to move to Eagle’s Trace.
“It is important for us to know that we are here for life,” says Linsenmayer.
The cost of an individual gala ticket is $100. There are five sponsorship levels available for the golf tournament, as well as a number of corporate sponsorships.
