Eagle’s Trace residents and staff were on hand recently to celebrate the grand opening of the newest amenity on campus: NeighborCare Pharmacy.
“We’re very happy to welcome NeighborCare to our community,” says Eagle’s Trace Executive Director Kevin Knopf. “We feel it is an important service to offer our residents.”
Service you can count on
Just steps away from the medical center and conveniently located in the Audubon Market, the pharmacy enhances the small-town feel of the community.
“Our goal is to provide the residents and staff with the best service,” says Barry Bress, vice president of operations for NeighborCare, which is a subsidiary of Omnicare, the nation’s leading provider of pharmaceutical care for seniors.
“We carry everything you need, or we can get it in the next day,” he tells Eagle’s Trace residents at the pharmacy’s grand opening. In addition to filling prescriptions, the pharmacy offers a wide selection of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, including first-aid supplies, aspirin, and other pain relievers.
“We will be working very closely with Dr. Holden and Dr. Patel in the medical center to ensure you have the right medications when you need them,” says Bress. “We also offer free delivery to your door.”
‘A great situation’
NeighborCare honors all prescription plans as well as Medicare Part D, and it has the capability to enroll in insurance plans.
Tanya Eberhardt is the on-site NeighborCare pharmacist. Prior to coming to Eagle’s Trace, she worked at a CVS pharmacy for 12 years. She says she is excited about her new position in the community: “The atmosphere here is great. I’m looking forward to getting to know the residents and being able to meet their needs. This is a great situation because I can provide individualized care for the residents and staff at Eagle’s Trace.”
