Eagle’s Trace exercisers walked away with honors during Erickson’s Sixth Annual Walk Challenge held in September. The honors included:

Third Place. With 92 participating, Eagle’s Trace walkers placed third out of all the Erickson communities in the nation.

First Place (tied). With 19 participating, Eagle’s Trace employees took top honors, tying with Seabrook in New Jersey.

Participants could log miles on a treadmill, on a trail, or in a swimming pool.

Personal trainer Claudia Alcocer says that the walkers at Eagle’s Trace are already in training for 2007, forming walking clubs and setting goals. But, she says, next on the list of challenges is to repeat as champions of “Exercise Across Erickson,” an annual day of exercise held each May that Eagle’s Trace won in 2006.
