Toys for Tots and Votes for Teens: Eagle’s Trace Volunteers Make a Difference
Winning Ways From Woodworkers, Etc.
A pledge to make a significant donation to Toys for Tots came to fruition in September when the 150 wooden toys made by Woodworkers, Etc. were delivered to their gift-giving destinations. “We made at least 75 for Children’s Protective Services and another 75 or more for the Marine Corps,” says Jerry LaRose, chairman of the group.

Get out the vote.
A crew from a mentoring program spearheaded by Dorothy Davison went back to high school to help get out the votes for the upcoming election. The five Eagle’s Trace residents spoke to students at nearby Westside High School, relating their life experiences and stressing the importance and power of voting.
