As the Brick and Stone Exterior Nears Completion, Work Moves Inside to Ready Redbud Crossing for Fall Opening
Over the past few months, passers-by could notice the progress of construction of the latest addition to Eagle’s Trace—Redbud Crossing. Now, as the fall move-in nears, work is reaching its final stages on the exterior, and crews have moved inside to complete construction.
With installation of the brick and the sandstone trim in its final stages, crews will soon begin landscaping, adding large trees and other plants that will beautifully complement the new building and the rest of the grounds.
With sheet rock up on the interior walls of Redbud Crossing, work is now being concentrated on installation of cabinetry and plumbing. Painting is also underway. The next phase of interior work will focus on finishing touches for the 124 new apartment homes, such as carpeting, tile, and upgrades.
“Although summer is just beginning, we’re already anticipating fall, when Redbud Crossing will open and welcome new residents.” says Michael Shaw, Executive Director of Eagle’s Trace.
“It is so exciting to see the progress of the construction,” Shaw continues, “and with all the people who have joined the Priority List and reserved apartments, the opening won’t be a moment too soon.”
