On Tuesday, July 17, Charlestown will host the Inaugural Writers Festival—a showcase and celebration of published authors who live at the Catonsville community.

The event will feature discussions by the authors themselves about their literary works, as well as book sales and refreshments.

“While we have always celebrated the life of the residents at Charlestown, this year will be the first time we have formerly celebrated authors,” says Masheka Barrett, operations associate at Erickson corporate headquarters.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cross Creek Station.
