THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
When you want to secure a table at your favorite restaurant on a Saturday night, you make a reservation. When you want to book a hotel room in a vacation hot spot, you make a reservation.
The same thinking applies when it comes to moving to Charlestown or Oak Crest. The popularity of these communities has produced waiting lists up to three years long. So if you have any interest in Charlestown or Oak Crest, it pays to make your “reservation” in advance.
“We meet with an average of 30 people each week who are interested in moving to Charlestown or Oak Crest,” says Retirement Counselor JoAnn Huebler.
“And we have more than 2,300 people on our waiting lists,” says Retirement Counselor Steffany Byers. “If you have any interest in Charlestown or Oak Crest for your future it’s imperative that you make an appointment to see one of us today.”
First Things First—Make an Appointment
As Steffany mentioned, the first step in the “reservation” process is to schedule an appointment with her or JoAnn—the experts.
Aside from the people who live there, nobody knows all the ins and outs of Charlestown and Oak Crest better than Steffany and JoAnn.
“We spend a full hour with you discussing your apartment-style preferences, answering questions you might have about dining, pets, religious services, or the long list of clubs we have on campus,” says JoAnn. “But many of the questions we most commonly hear are personal.
The no. 1 Question
JoAnn says the big question on everyone’s mind is, “What can I afford? And how does my financial picture match up with the monthly service packages and 100% Refundable Entrance Deposits at Oak Crest or Charlestown?”
“We’ll go over a financial worksheet with you to show you how you can afford this lifestyle for about what you already spend to live in your house,” says JoAnn.
