Health Tips for Staying on Top of Your Golf Game |
| | Posted on Sunday, October 01, 2006 | | | |
Warm Up!
Most injuries occur when muscles are tight. Walking, stretching, and practicing your swing are all great ways to get loose before your game.
Stay Hydrated!
Skip the sugary sports drinks and sodas and stick with water. Keeping your body hydrated, especially during hot summer days in the sun is key to keeping your body performing well.
You are what you eat!
Pass on the chili dog being sold on the snack cart and instead carry along wholesome snacks like granola bars and fruit. Eat light before hitting the links and save the heavy meal until after your game. | |
