THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
Charlestown and Oak Crest are filled with more than 4,000 people just like you—accomplished, interesting, and involved. Each of these unique individuals brings their experiences and passions to these Erickson communities, resulting in the inspiring, dynamic communities they are today.
Here’s an introduction to just a few of the 4,000 unique individuals that could be your new neighbors …
Jacqueline Cox from Pikesville
Jacqueline Cox already had friends living at Charlestown when she decided to trade her five bedroom Victorian house where she had lived for 51 years for a maintenance-free apartment at Charlestown.
“It just made sense to move. There I was living in this big house all alone. I was always worried what would happen if someone broke in and then there was all the upkeep,” she says.
“Charlestown is centrally located to all of my children and I have the best apartment ever! I just love it! I’m on the fifth floor on a corner and I have so many windows that make it bright and cheery,” says Jacqueline.
“I’ve got a large walk-in closet, an eat-in kitchen—plenty of space for everything I wanted to bring. And I don’t have to worry about shoveling when it snows. The entire community inside and out is kept so pristine.”
Jacqueline takes advantage of many of the services and amenities offered at Charlestown.
“They really thought of everything when they built this place,” she says. “Everything you could imagine is here.
It’s wonderful being able to get to the hair dresser, bank, or the Medical Center without having to go out. And if I would need to go to the grocery store or an appointment off campus and I didn’t feel like driving, the shuttle service is right here to take you. As far as the amenities, there’s so much to do here, I’m reluctant to get involved in too many things at once. I enjoy just taking things as they come along,” she says.
