Look Who’s Living the Good Life At Cedar Crest
Who: Sheila Robbins
Moved from: Wayne, New Jersey

Last Christmas was a very merry one for Sheila Robbins. On December 24, she moved into her beautiful one-bedroom Brighton home at Cedar Crest.

An avid piano player, Sheila has found Cedar Crest to be a dream come true. Here she not only plays the piano she brought with her from Wayne, but also the piano in the Belmont Clubhouse, where she often draws a crowd.

What made you decide to move to Cedar Crest?

“I needed to make a change, because I wasn’t happy living alone anymore. At Crest I enjoy being in my own home and having that privacy, and I also enjoy being with all the wonderful people in this community.

“There is so much to do, and I can walk to everything without even going outside. Also, I’m still very close to my two daughters who live nearby.”

What do you like most about living here?

“First of all, I don’t have to cook or worry about dinner. [Chuckles] And I don’t have to take out the garbage!

“Everybody is very friendly. I’m very comfortable here.”

“Yesterday I had some people here, and one of them said, ‘This should be in House Beautiful.’ And I haven’t done anything special to my home.

“It’s a one-bedroom, and it’s very comfortable with a good-sized bedroom and living area. When I moved, everything fit in beautifully, even my piano.

“I also love the view through the large picture windows. When I look out on the mountains, I know I made the right choice.”
