Posted on Thursday, November 16, 2006

POMPTON PLAINS, NJ – Hundreds of residents, employees, and members of the public enjoyed themselves at Cedar Crest’s annual “Fruits of Our Labor” craft fair. There were so many wonderful items to look at and purchase that it was hard to know where to look first. Many wonderful items, which were created by Cedar Crest’s talented residents, were on display and for sale at the event, including paintings (oils, watercolors, sketches and prints); dimension artwork; seasonal greeting and blank note cards; artificial flowers and wreaths; Pysanky handcrafted eggs; needlework; handmade sweatshirts; wooden trains, cars and children’s toys; knitted hats, scarves, sweaters, handbags, blankets and children’s items; hand-crafted bowls and jewelry boxes; blouses with studs and rhinestones; quilts; accessory scarves; stuffed animals; sewing-related items; miniature furniture; ceramic items; holiday items; jewelry (chains, necklaces, rings, earrings, and beads); eye glass holders; and baskets. The event provided everyone with an early start for purchasing great holiday gifts for friends, family, and loved ones.
