Along with his colleagues, Jerry also led in the recruitment of faculty for the engineering management program. in addition, he assisted in defining the mission and policies of the school for preparation for accreditation.

Jerry was the first Associate Dean at the founding of The Gordon Institute, and subsequently, became Dean. Jerry received his B.S. from the City College of New York, and a M.A. from New York University in Teaching of Mathematics. Having moved to Brooksby from Magnolia, Jerry stays quite busy.

Keeping Busy
In addition to his consultation work with Northeastern University, he is also involved in different clubs and classes. "I organized the Resident Interim Advisory Committee. also helped found the Classical Concert Committee which brings artists into Brooksby," says Jerry. Although Jerry enjoys the wealth of activities that are available at Brooksby, there is something else he enjoys more.

Extended family
"What really makes this place are the people who live here. It’s like having a large extended family—the people here are my family," says Jerry. "I filled my home here at Brooksby with books and stereo equipment and I haven’t listened to it in three years. I’ve been so busy meeting new people and enjoying the activities."
