Santa makes an early stop in Peabody

Posted on Tuesday, December 12, 2006

PEABODY, MA – On Friday, Brooksby Village held a Parade of Lights for residents, staff, and their families. Toys were collected for Haven from Hunger, a local food pantry, during the event. The night began at 6:30 p.m. when fire engines decorated with lights drove through the campus. At 7 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted those who attended. People who live and work at the campus and their families enjoyed music, hot chocolate, cookies, and more. After the party, Santa and Mrs. Claus delivered the toys to Haven from Hunger. At 7:45 p.m., the Trinity Choir performed in the chapel at Brooksby Village. (Dani G. Baldassare)
