PEABODY, MA – Four artists who live at Brooksby Village recently donated their original works of art to be auctioned off at the North Shore Music Theatre’s Beehive Ball Gala. Nearly 400 people attended the event and approximately $100,000 was raised to benefit the Theatre’s award-winning education programs. Eleanor Jones donated an acrylic painting that was auctioned off for $700; Rose Coffin donated an oil painting that brought in $300; and both Truth Nickerson and Ann Ribbs donated watercolors that fetched $200. The gala featured a silent and live auction, as well as cocktails, dinner, dancing, music, games and a performance by North Shore Music Theatre’s Youth Performance Choir. (Dani G. Baldassare)
