Introducing Your New Erickson HealthSM Team

THE ERICKSON TRIBUNE
There is a new team caring for your health at the on-site Medical Center. They bring a fresh approach to health care, while maintaining all the things that make Erickson HealthSM so effective.
Like all the other doctors in the Erickson HealthSM system, medical director Karen Bryant, M.D., and her two colleagues, Prescott Lee, M.D., and Leslie J. Rigali, D.O., have extensive experience in geriatric care. They are assisted by nurse practitioner Marva Murphy, and practice manager Patricia Bettencourt-Pappas.
Providing Attention Means Quality Care
One of the biggest obstacles to quality health care today is that most doctors simply don’t have enough time to spend with their patients. That isn’t surprising, considering each physician is trying to handle a patient load of at least 2,000 people.
That isn’t the case at the Brooksby Village Medical Center. Drs. Bryant, Lee, and Rigali all provide each of their patients with total quality care—an average of 25 minutes per visit. That is because none of them sees more than 400 people.
“My former doctor would come in, say ‘How are you?,’ write a prescription, and out he went. With my Erickson HealthSM physician, there’s no rush,” says Joe Booker, an Erickson resident.
These are staff doctors, not visitors, working at Brooksby Village full-time, five days a week. Because each doctor averages only two patients an hour, the staff finds it easy to schedule last-minute appointments—usually within 24 hours.
