People who live at Brooksby Village are now able to take classes taught by Montserrat College of Art professors right at Brooksby Village thanks to a new partnership between the college and the active adult campus.

A New Partnership

“We are very excited about this new partnership,” says Mary Landry, Ccommunity Resources Ccoordinator at Brooksby Village. “Joan Smith, who lives at Brooksby Village, was a former interim President of Montserrat. She came to me with the idea of establishing a relationship with the college. Joan coordinated the initial meeting between Wendy Hubbard, director of continuing education and me. It's going to be great fun!”

Different Mediums

The students are learning to explore the art mediums of collage, watercolor painting, basic drawing, card making, and acrylic painting. The classes are held right in Brooksby Village classrooms.
