What are some of your hobbies and interests?
I have certainly found enough to stay busy. I’m a member of the Fitness Center and take several of the classes there. I recently started volunteering at Renaissance Gardens and also volunteer at the library at Brooksby. I'm also part of the club that greets new people.
Why did you choose a Fairmont?
I wanted a large two bedroom, one bathroom. I was able to fit both my dressers and my bed in the bedroom and also have a small table with two chairs and a hope chest in there. In the living area, I was able to fit three chairs and a couch.
What is it that you like most about the Fairmont?
It’s got a huge amount of closet space. There’s a big, over-sized coat closet near the front door, two other closets for hanging clothes, a walk-in closet in the bedroom, plus a linen closet, and another closet in the second bedroom. Also like the fact that when you come in, there’s a separate foyer area.
Some people have turned their second bedroom into an office or den—have you?
Yes. I have a sleep sofa in the living area and use the second bedroom for sewing, writing, and reading.
What do you want peopleto know about Brooksby?
There’s something foreveryone here and such a great variety of friendly people. You’re not pushed into doing anything—you can seek and find the things that interest you. You also get to meet new people almost every night at dinner in the restaurants.
