Throughout the summer months, people all over the north shore will be putting on their festive summer shirts and heading to Brooksby for a barbecue luncheon.

Meet the Experts

"We always get a good turnout at our luncheons, but this summer’s barbecue events are really making the phones ring," says Marisa Tazzini, Brooksby Village’s retirement counselor. Those in attendance will to get a chance to meet the experts—the people who call Brooksby home.

Food for Thought

There’s nothing quite like coming to a barbecue in Brooksby’s 90-acre "backyard." This festive cookout will serve everything from sizzling steak tips to zesty barbecue chicken with all the summer trimmings.

And for those looking to fill up on more than just a tasty lunch, these barbecues are the perfect place! There will be an informative Q&A session, and people who live and work at Brooksby will be on hand to answer your questions.

Enviable Amenities

People attending the barbecue will get a tour of Brooksby’s stunning, multi-million-dollar Mcintosh Clubhouse, which is known for its resort-style amenities like the Overlook restaurant, interfaith chapel, TV studio, Mcintosh Marketplace, creative arts studio, and billiards and games room.

Getting to see the apartment homes also ranks highest on people’s list when attending these barbecue luncheons.

Seeing is Believeing

"People coming to the barbecues enjoy seeing exactly what the apartment homes at Brooksby look like. People who live at Brooksby open their homes up for visitors at these events to see just how spacious these homes really are, and gives them an opportunity to talk one-on-one with people who actually live here," says Marisa.
