Moving doesn’t have to be a fight—if you’re moving to Ann’s Choice, that is.

That’s because people who use the community’s new Erickson Realty & Moving Services program have a new ally in their corner. Her name is Colleen Rosica.

“As our personal moving consultant, she’s responsible for taking any and all worry out of the moving process,” Ann’s Choice Retirement Counselor Marie Dmoch says. “We like to call her the ‘moving guru.’ As soon as someone decides they want to move to Ann’s Choice, we put them in touch with Colleen to help get the ball rolling.”

Other duties as assigned
Rosica explains that her job consists of meeting with people moving to the community, then doing a room-by-room assessment of their old house. She suggests easy tips her clients can do to get the best price for their house and help sell the property quickly.

“I try and look at everything and make sure our clients can get the most out of their old house,” Rosica explains. “And if they want any services done, I can give our customers the names of the most trusted people in the industry.”

Rosica says she has a full cadre of resources available for her clients. Those include specially selected Realtors, downsizers, stagers, contractors, packers, and movers who specialize in making the moving process go smoothly. “They  are all the best,” Rosica says.

A changing market
“In today’s market you can’t just put up a for sale sign,” says Tom Neubauer, senior vice president of sales for Erickson, the company that built and manages Ann’s Choice and created the moving program. “It’s a competitive market. You have to put your best foot forward to get people into your house and get the best market value. That’s where Colleen comes in. She makes all that happen.”

Rosica comes to Ann’s Choice from a ten-year career as a licensed Realtor. She recently completed her certification to serve as an accredited home staging specialist.

Rosica’s knowledge of the region around Ann’s Choice comes from her personal experiences. “I grew up in nearby Montgomery County and have lived in Bucks County for the past 17 years,” she says. “I’m pretty familiar with the community. That’s another reason why I’m so happy to be at Ann’s Choice. I know and love the area. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”

Dmoch says Rosica is perfect for the job. “I’ve never met a real estate expert like Colleen. She knows this market and this area probably better than anyone I’ve ever met. She gives the best advice and really looks out for her customers.”

“I simply love my job,” Rosica says matter-of-factly. “I get up each morning,  get to meet and work with new people every day, and really see if we can make a difference in their lives.”

Colleen’s Corner
