Ann’s Choice recently learned that it is among the most popular of 18 Erickson communities across the nation. According to community officials, the retirement community located in Warminster, Pa., eclipsed the 90% sold-out status last month.

“It is a huge milestone for us,” Ann’s Choice Director of Sales and Marketing Deborah Olcese says. “We can see that we’re growing by leaps and bounds every day, but hitting 90% is quite an accomplishment and quite a testament to what a great place Ann’s Choice is to live and work.”

Word of mouth
“People seem to really feel they get the most for their retirement dollar at Ann’s Choice,” Retirement Counselor Donna Donohue says. “But it’s the word-of-mouth references that are so impressive. We have more people come to us saying they are interested in Ann’s Choice because a friend or family member lives here and loves it. I think that’s something special.”

Donohue says the community averages approximately 1,100 requests for free  information kits each month and gives nearly 200 monthly tours of the community to interested individuals.

The secret to getting in
Despite the growing popularity of the community, Retirement Counselor Marie Dmoch says there is still a secret to getting into Ann’s Choice and getting the home style wanted.

Dmoch explains that for people considering a move, the best opportunity to get the apartment home of their choice is by joining the community’s Priority List. “This exclusive list reserves your place in line, giving you the first right of refusal when the desired apartment style becomes available,” she says.

“Given our capacity, it’s a good idea to try and get on the list,” Dmoch adds. “Every day that someone waits to join the Priority List, one or two people jump ahead in line. Anyone considering Ann’s Choice for next year, or even five years down the line, should join the Priority List as soon as possible.”

Building on demand
“It’s definitely moving fast,” Donohue says of the progress at Ann’s Choice. “And each day we’re accepting more and more reservations.” Donohue adds that Ann’s Choice sends community news, including possible home openings, to those on the Priority List before it’s released to the public.
