It’s a bit of breathing room, but not much. The clock is still ticking.

Due to a high level of demand, Ann’s Choice officials announced that a deadline for a price increase has been extended by one month.

The price of homes at the full-service community was set to increase at the end of July. But due to a high volume of calls to the community’s sales office from those looking to reserve a home before the change takes effect, the deadline for the offer will be extended.

“The response to the opportunity has been huge,” Retirement Counselor Marie Dmoch says. “We just want to make sure that everyone interested in reserving a home at Ann’s Choice has a chance to get in before the increase takes effect.”

Those interested in moving to the community will now have until August 31, 2007, to call the office, reserve a home, and secure the lowest price possible.

The time to act
“If someone is interested in Ann’s Choice, they really shouldn’t wait any longer,” Retirement Counselor Donna Donohue says. “If they are considering moving in the next few months, now is certainly the best time to act if they want to get in before costs go up. They could literally save themselves thousands of dollars if they call and reserve a home now.”

Donohue explains that after the deadline—due to the rising cost of construction materials—initial entrance deposits will increase anywhere from $2,000 to $24,000, depending on the style of the home.

Making the move
Already, a large number of people have called to take advantage of the deal.

“The response has been excellent,” Donohue says. “Everyone seems to  understand the situation that we’re in, and most importantly they seem to want the chance to save thousands. The number of calls for reservations has been huge.”

Officials report that the community is seeing approximately 1,100 requests for information each month and is giving almost 200 tours of the community a month to those who are interested in moving to Ann’s Choice.

“The sooner people call to reserve, the better the selection of apartments we’ll have available,” Dmoch says. “We have some of the most popular models available, but we’re reserving at a pace we’ve never seen before. I don’t know how long the models will last.”
