Officials at Ann’s Choice have been busy reminding those interested in moving to the community to call to reserve their home before a price increase takes effect later this month.
The cost of homes at the full-service community will increase effective July 31, 2007. To encourage people who are seriously considering the community, those who call to reserve before the deadline will be given the current, lower price, officials explain.
“The response has been excellent,” Donna Donohue, retirement counselor at Ann’s Choice, says. “Everyone seems to understand the situation that we’re in, and most importantly, they seem to want the chance to save thousands. The number of calls for reservations has been huge.”
Officials report that the community is seeing 1,100 requests for information and give up to 200 tours of the community each month.
The time to act
The cost of initial entrance deposits will increase from $2,000 to $24,000 depending on the style of the home selected.
“Prices are going up,” Ann’s Choice Retirement Counselor Marie Dmoch says. “We’ve done our best at keeping them as low as possible for as long as possible, but something had to give.”
She adds, “If someone is considering reserving a home at Ann’s Choice in the next few months, I would urge them to call as soon as possible to save thousands of dollars.”
Dmoch says the race is certainly to the swift. “And the sooner people call to reserve, the better the selection of apartments we’ll have available. We have a limited supply of new homes available including some of our most popular models.”
