The chance to lock in last year’s pricing is about to expire. Ann’s Choice officials have announced a pricing deadline for all homes at the community.

On the heels of announcing a price increase on all styles of homes, Ann’s Choice officials have asked anyone interested in moving to the community this year to call and reserve as soon as possible. To reward those who reserve a home before the July 31 deadline, the community will offer them the current prices that are about to become extinct.

“By simply reserving today, you can save thousands of dollars,” Retirement Counselor Donna Donohue says. “The increase won’t take effect until the end of July, so there is still some time. But the clock is definitely ticking.”

A smart time to make the move
Ann’s Choice officials said that prices would be increasing $2,000 to $24,000, depending on the style of home. The rise is due to increased fuel and material costs.

Marie Dmoch, a retirement counselor at Ann’s Choice, says, “If you’ve been considering Ann’s Choice for awhile, now would be the best time to act.” Dmoch says all of the community’s most popular models will be seeing price increases.

One model that will see a marked increase is the Manchester. The popular,  deluxe, two bedroom, two bath model with a balcony will rise almost $19,000 after July 31. “If you’re considering reserving, call us now and we’ll lock you in the lower price,” Dmoch says.

The race is to the swift
The ability to lock in the lower price will only be offered as long as homes are available. “There is a limited supply available,” Donohue says. “It’s a good mix of styles, but I don’t think they will last very long.”

Donohue says the community’s Priority List members have already been informed of the decision to raise prices and there has been significant interest to buy before the price increase. Now the offer is being extended to those not on the Priority List.

“Some people are hesitant to join the Priority List, but we thought it was only fair to give them a chance too. If they call now, we’ll do everything to see if they can get in under the deadline, and get those current prices too. On August 1, there’s nothing more we can do,” Donohue says.
