Winter chill?

Not an issue at bustling buck’s county community

Bob and Loretta Hall decided to move to Ann’s Choice “for many reasons,” according to Bob. Having a daughter and grandchildren close by was key, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg . . . so to speak.

“When it’s cold and rainy out all we have to do is walk down the hall to dine at a great restaurant,” says Bob. “By living at Ann’s Choice our quality of life is so much better.”

For those of us not lucky enough to be living at Ann’s Choice, the start of December signifies the first cold and wet stuff of winter. It’s also time to get ready for all the frustrations and the expenses that come with it. On top of the skyrocketing heating bills, shoveling snow, and winterizing your house, there’s a void of activity. You’re cooped up in your house a lot more than during the warmer months with not a lot to do.

Comfortable convenience
When meteorologists call for an abundance of unsightly ice, freezing rain, sleet, and snow people living at Ann’s Choice aren’t rushing out to buy milk and bread.

Instead, they’re walking down climate-controlled walkways to a variety of onsite restaurants, enjoying a tantalizing meal prepared by their talented chef without ever going outside.

Enjoy the warmth and relaxation of the indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub. Keep those winter pounds at bay by working out in the state-of-the-art fitness center, or a world-class spa! Exercise your mind by taking an on-campus college course. Repair or craft your own furniture in the on-site woodwork & hobby shop – just a few of the amenities here to support the more than 100 clubs.

“I like that you can add more clubs if you like too,” says Ted Szczepkowski, who lives at Ann’s Choice. “The staff is always trying to accommodate us. I’m having a blast!”

In fact, the Halls were thinking about starting a German club when they discovered the community already had one!

“It’s good to meet people who share our interests,” says Bob.

Everyday is a breeze
Ann’s Choice even makes it easier to do those little everyday things—such as picking up a gallon of milk or depositing a check. You’ll find a convenience store, bank, post office, computer room, and creative arts studio. There’s also a hair salon and barber shop right on campus.

“Everything’s easier here,” says Ted. “Even on a terribly cold day, I can go anywhere on campus and there’s plenty to do. Plus, there are restaurants right here!

The Halls also enjoy the ease and freedom. “We love to travel a lot,” says Bob. “For the first time we’re able to go on vacation without worrying about someone watching our things. We have more freedom now than ever before.”

Thanks to the professional landscaping and grounds keeping crews at Ann’s Choice, neither Ted nor the Halls will have to deal with bone-chilling winter chores like snow shoveling ever again.

The Ann’s Choice team of professionals will take care of everything from salting to snow plowing, from lawn mowing to leaf blowing— 365 days a year. This gives you all the benefits of having a sprawling gorgeous backyard, with none of the work.

And when a nor’easter blows through the area you won’t have to worry about your car getting “snowed in” or the walkways becoming covered in ice. Our crew will always be out making sure winter doesn’t stand in the way of your on-the-go lifestyle.

Fun Means Free of Work
“Another great advantage is the transportation service at Ann’s Choice,” explains Marie Dmoch, Ann’s Choice retirement counselor.

“We have a complimentary daily service that caters to your local shopping needs. No more having to navigate icy roads, fight traffic or jockey for a parking space. Our driver will take you from door-to-door so you can get your errands done quickly, easily, and stress-free.”

Don’t risk losing out on a “merry” winter, call Ann’s Choice now for your free information kit and how you can join the Priority List. The response to Ann’s Choice continues to be overwhelming, so joining the Priority List is the only way to ensure your place when new apartment homes become available.
