Take a moment to enjoy a panoramic view of Ann’s Choice, the bustling 103- acre resort-style campus in Bucks County, and it’s hard to believe how much this vibrant community has grown in just three years.
“Three years ago Shirley Riel became the first official resident,” says Donna Donohue, an Ann’s Choice retirement counselor. “Today, as we celebrate our three-year anniversary, we’ve got more than 1,100 happy residents and the demand continues to grow. Even now, there are still over 500 Priority List members waiting for the chance to call Ann’s Choice ‘home.’”
Says Shirley about the incredible growth, “I’m the ‘first’ resident, but I moved here at the same time that other Pioneers were moving,” she said. “We had a close-knit group and it’s just grown. Every time someone moves here, it reaffirms my decision.”
Ann’s Choice opened in August 2003 with the magnificent Village Clubhouse.
“We were impressed with the Village Clubhouse,” said Shirley. “We can swim year-round, work out at the Fitness Center, go down the hall to see our doctor, pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy and convenience store, get our hair done, go to the bank, and dine at on-site restaurants. Everything is right here.”
Everything’s Connected
Now, with the new Liberty Commons Clubhouse complete, Shirley continues to be impressed.
“With the new clubhouse we’ve added a lot more amenities, including the Performing Arts Center, television studio, spa, and more world-class restaurants. It’s fantastic,” she said.
Shirley also notes that you can go anywhere you want on campus without setting foot outside. That’s key during inclement weather when the summer heat is in the 90s or winter weather hits the freezing mark.
Residents continue to enjoy their daily routines by taking advantage of the community’s climate-controlled walkways that go wherever you want at Ann’s Choice.
