Microsoft has released a new security update for Internet Explorer that changes the way Active X controls work in your Web browser. This will affect websites that use Macromedia Flash and other plug-ins, and changes the way you interact with these sites.
There is a fix that webmasters can implement to work around the new security changes, but because this is new many sites are still updating. So, in pages that have not had the fix implemented, the Flash content displays with an outline around it.
When you mouse over the active content, a tool tip will appear stating that you need to click to activate and use the Active X control. After clicking you can go about interacting with the Flash content as you have always done in the past.
